From 1st january 2023, a tourist tax of rm 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. guests with a valid malaysian identity card or valid permanent residents my pr card are exempted, please be informed that the villa does not accept third party credit card payments. you will be required to kindly present a photo identification and the same credit card used to guarantee your booking when checking in or making payment at the hotel. in the event that you do not have the credit card used to make the booking, you will be required to make full payment on the credit card that you have in your possession. charges on the previous credit card will be refunded within 14 working days, smoking includes tobacco cigarets, electronic cigarets (vape), cigars, pipe tobaccos, cigaret leaves (rokok daun), bamboo pipes and waterpipe smokes (bong, hookah/shisha and mouassal) is strictly prohibited in all units. tenants are permitted to smoke on the balconies of ground floor units only. due to the danger and risk of fire, smoking is not permitted on balconies or terraces of units on the first or second floors. should a tenant smoke inside their room, they will forfeit their deposit and subject to a cleaning fee equivalent to one night room charge at the prevailing rate. please be kind enough to respect this agreement, please be informed that children below 12 are not allowed due to architectural design and safety concerns, car park within the precinct is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis. guests are to park at their own risk and to fully assume any loss or damages to their own vehicles parked on and off residence grounds, each room is only allowed a maximum of 2 adults per room except for the sarang and luxe sarang rooms. any request for an extra bed is subject to availability and chargeable at an additional myr 250 net per unit per night, inclusive of daily breakfast. no visitors or unregistered guests are allowed in the property, all of the rooms in villa samadhi is built based on preserving the sanctity of its natural surroundings. kindly be informed that most of the room has different layout and design. for any specific request related to room layout such as corner room, indoor/outdoor plunge pool etc, will be strongly subjected to availability upon arrival.guests are required to show a photo id and credit card upon check-in. please note that all special requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply, guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian, please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. you can use the special requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

Positive: Beautifully decorated, spacious rooms with private plunge pool. Well staffed and good customer service.

Negative: There are a lot of renovations that need to be done here. I stayed 5 years ago and it was a very special place. This visit, the sun beds and roof was damaged, aircon and wifi was not strong enough. There were also children staying, when the hotel advertised as child free. I spent a lot of money and was very disappointed.

Summary: Overpriced stay for a property that needs renovations.
