From 1st january 2023, a tourist tax of rm 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. this tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. guests with a valid malaysian identity card or valid permanent residents my pr card are exempted. beginning 1 july 2016, as directed by the langkawi municipal council, a local government tourism promotion fee would be applicable per room per night, the name on the credit card used for the booking should correspond to the guest staying at the property. for reservations made by a third party, you will need to complete an authorization form and present a copy of the person's id and credit card, 'the langkawi tourism fee will be changed to rm10 per room, per day starting 1st january 2025 onwards in line with the langkawi municipal council, for key events, a charge of rm20 per night will apply. key events include langkawi international maritime & aerospace (lima), le tour de langkawi, ironman, and oceanman malaysia.'guests are required to show a photo id and credit card upon check-in. please note that all special requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply, please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. you can use the special requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

Positive: What I love about the St. Regis Langkawi is how effortlessly it blends wild island beauty with polished luxury. One moment you’re surrounded by lush rainforest and dramatic limestone cliffs, the next you’re sipping mocktails by the sea with that unmistakable St. Regis refinement.

Negative: The beach is quite muddy, with minimal waves and much like lake water. Should consider to add/offer more water activities.
