Positive: Wow, where to begin. Arrive in the hustle and bustle of Ubud and be transported across rice terraces along the Sari Organic Trail to a magical jungle oasis. A five-minute scooter ride to the action, yet a destination that feels like old Ubud. Watch the sunset from the pool, yoga platform or your balcony, to then be greeted by fireflies lighting up the forest. From the stunning room with every detail considered, the pool overlooking the jungle, the stars at night, the winding paths through the rice fields, to the delicious breakfast, I genuinely can’t pick a favourite. Massive shoutout to Putu, his family, and his team, who make you feel so welcome and will happily take you up and down to the main road if you’re not confident on a scooter, asking for nothing but a thank you. The property sits at the back of Putu’s grandmother’s rice fields, which makes the setting feel even more special. Highly recommend.
