Positive: This extremely friendly family welcomed me as though they had known me for years. I booked very last minute, within hours, because I had to leave a different place quickly. They were my miracle! Wi-Fi and AC were excellent. Bathroom & bedroom were extremely clean and comfortable, with a great view of the surroundings. I felt safe and relaxed, enjoyed walking in the area and talking with the family. They and their neighbors were so helpful and kind. They told me about local customs, shared fruits and vegetables. I was able to purchase meals they made that were delicious, and Made helped create a wonderful tour of the area before driving me to my next destination in Ubud. We visited local villages, temples, waterfalls, a coffee place. It was like a fun road trip with a long-time friend. I learned so much, and I was sad to say goodbye. They have created something special!

Negative: This is a remote, rugged location homestay, so be aware that you are not at a tourist hotspot. It was exactly what I was looking for, located near many waterfalls but best to be aware.
